Courses of classical music and free concerts Throughout August the 'Flaine International Music Academy' and 'Music in Flaine' continue the tradition of top-level musical tuition, with the same requirement for a high standard of working conditions for the teachers and students. The large function room is the venue for the master classes, concert rehearsals and student auditions, and is open to the public. A violin maker and a bow maker also have a workshop there. It is also the central point for all information to do with the Academy. The teachers hold their lessons in a number of other places: the Auditorium, the chapel, the school, the ski school kids' club building etc

		OPUS 74 From 22 July to 1st August 2013 This is new and it is in Flaine, a new music course arises this summer. Flaine International Music academy From 2 to 16 August 2013 The vocation of the Flaine International Music Academy is to promote the teaching of music at an advanced level. But it is also there to create some magical moments for the public by holding a number of free concerts in Flaine's auditorium. At the end of the course the competitive 'Grand Prix de l'Académie' is awarded; this includes a grant and the opportunity to feature as the soloist in one concert in the 2013 season.
		Musique à Flaine From 16 to 29 August 2013 'Musique in Flaine' came about thanks to the teachers and personalities involved with the 'Bain de Musique', who wanted to set up a top-level music academy devoted to chamber music. .. Tuition is in the hands of the Ysaÿe string quartet. Free concerts and lecture are held in the Auditorium.   This academy, whose president is Catherine DELEPELAIRE, is supported by the Scaler Foundation .
