The resort features a wide range of non-skiing activities to fill your days: cross-country skiing, youth exhibitions, spas, ice driving, snow trailing, and guided tours of the resort.

Located at the Col de Pierre Carrée, the Flaine Nordic area is set slightly back from the resort center. Easily accessible by car (free parking on-site) or via the shuttle service, this site is the ideal playground to enjoy snow activities other than alpine skiing. You can practice cross-country skiing, enjoy the sledding area, or explore its superb trails dedicated to walking and snowshoeing.

The snowshoe trails initially follow the groomed walking paths, before offering additional loops accessible exclusively with snowshoes. Two areas are available for your outing:

  • The Arbaron area (1,910 m): Located near the hamlet, this route offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Flaine resort and the surrounding peaks. Take the opportunity to take a break at the sledding area! Continuing your snowshoe walk, you will discover a breathtaking, unobstructed view over the entire valley.

  • The Combe d’Enverse area (1,747 m): Head deep into the forest and forge your path among the fir trees for a snowshoe hike with a Canadian Far North feel!
