This educational event is designed to raise awareness of the realities of pastoralism and to educate hikers about the best way to behave in the mountains. Mandated by the 2CCAM, the WWF will be hosting this event to inform the public about the issues surrounding the natural return of the wolf and the essential presence of the famous Patous guard dogs. It will also raise awareness of the best practices for enjoying the mountains while respecting their fragile balance. The aim of this initiative is to increase mutual understanding between visitors and those involved in pastoralism, to reduce conflicts of use and to promote harmonious and sustainable cohabitation in the mountain pastures. Preserving the mountains also means learning to share them!
