Ready for a challenge? La Grimpette de Flaine is a fast-paced and exciting uphill race. Participants compete on a 330-metre course with 66 metres of elevation gain in a knockout tournament format.

The rules are simple: racers start in groups of 4. At the finish line, the first 2 runners qualify for the next round, while the other 2 are eliminated. Round after round, the competition becomes tougher until the grand final crowns the king and queen of the climb!

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or simply looking for a fun challenge, come and test your speed, endurance and determination in a friendly and lively atmosphere.

The Grimpette Schedule:

1:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Race bib pickup
2:00 PM: Men’s races begin
2:30 PM: Women’s races begin
3:30 PM: Teenagers’ races begin
6:30 PM (at the latest): Awards ceremony and prize presentation

Rates

Free of charge. Flaine Summer Pass required. If you do not have this pass, you must purchase it on the day (17€) at the Flaine Tourist Office.

How to find us

The activity takes place in Flaine Forum, next to Lift 1.

To get there on foot from Flaine Forêt, use the orange inclined lifts.

Coming by car? The nearest car park is P2, located just before the entrance to Flaine Forum.
