Enjoy this hike with 374 m of elevation gain to immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Flaine mountains, amid breathtaking landscapes and encounters with local wildlife and plant life.

The route is marked, and maintenance of the trail is carried out by users. You will follow sections of open ski slopes; please keep to the side and walk in single file. The descent must be made exclusively via open pistes. The ski patrol reserves the right to partially or fully close the route for safety reasons.

Itinerary accessible only during "night" hours, from when the pistes close until 9pm.

It is recommended to be equipped with safety gear: avalanche beacon, shovel, probe, phone, and survival blanket. Since the route is undertaken at night, it is also recommended to have a headlamp.

How to find us

The hike starts at the bottom of the red Célestine slope (near the departure of the Aup de Véran gondola) at Flaine Front de Neige. The route ends at the top of the Aujon button lift, at an altitude of 1,951 m.

To reach it on foot from Flaine Forum, take the small path near the Ecumenical Chapel that descends to Flaine Front de Neige, or follow the ski slopes on the right of the Grandes Platières cable car.

Coming by car? The nearest parking areas are P5, P1, or P0. They are located just before the entrance to Flaine Front de Neige, slightly downhill, towards the ice driving circuit.
