Enjoy this hike, with an elevation gain of 464 m, to immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Flaine mountains, amid breathtaking landscapes and encounters with local wildlife and plant life.

The route is marked, and track maintenance is carried out by users. You will use sections of open ski runs—keep to the side and stay in single file. The descent is only permitted on open runs. The piste management reserves the right to partially or fully close the route for safety reasons.

How to find us

The route starts from the Vernant parking lot, at the bottom of the Le Lac chairlift. To get there, please park in the Vernant parking lot, located about 10 minutes from Flaine. From the parking lot, it’s a 30-minute walk to reach the starting point. The route ends at the top of the Vernant chairlift, at Grands Vans.

If you don't want to take your car, you can take a free shuttle bus from Flaine and get off at the "Vernant" stop.
