The 6th stage of the 2026 Tour de l’Avenir will take place between Les Carroz and Flaine, passing through the Col de Pierre Carrée.

An important and decisive stage, as it will be an individual time trial. The finish at Col de Pierre Carrée will feature a demanding climb, where the elevation gain will be a key factor.

Created and supported by the Tour de France, the Tour de l’Avenir is the world’s leading event for revealing the future stars of cycling. A true stepping stone to the highest level, it has seen many of today’s greatest champions emerge, having made their mark on its roads before shining at the top of international cycling.

From Flaine, access to the pass will be by shuttle bus.

From Les Carroz or the valley, access will be by car, with free parking available at the pass. Please note that the only access road will be closed from 2:00 pm.

How to find us

The event will take place at the race finish, at Col de Pierre Carrée, opposite the building of the 27th Alpine Hunters Battalion.

From Flaine, access to the pass will be by shuttle bus. The shuttles, stops and schedules will be the same as those provided throughout the week.

From Les Carroz or the valley, access will be by car. Free parking will be available at Col de Pierre Carrée. Please note that the access road to the pass, which is the only route up, will be closed to traffic from 2:00 pm.
